Mom and Cassidy sporting the same great looking skirt and shoes! Hmmm....great minds think a like, do ya think?
Here is most of us that made the annual trek up the mountain to our private little spot in Little Cottonwood Canyon sans mom and dad. Remember the year we went up there as a family and got run out by a huge mexican contingent that came up there to roast their pig? Here were eating our pb&js and the next thing we knew we were surrounded right there in the middle of the forest. Our who can forget the time Shae wandered off? We were frantic looking for her. I remember Mom and I saying a prayer silently in our minds to find her and we did but it was a helpless feeling there for awhile!
Here is Shae with her roomates....love the red hair! They liven our Sunday afternoons when they come to pick up Shae.
More pictures of 24th. Two beautiful ladies!
Guess who rules the roost in this fam? It is the big Cal!
Hmmm....now where did I put those rocks to throw in the water, they must be here somewhere!

Trek, shoes, and Shae
Well, Lexi and I had the privilege to go on Trek and it was a wonderful experience. I feel bad for all of you that didn't get to go on Trek. It was great I had so much fun. I'd say the best part was the river crossing, and getting to dunk people in the water. After a hot day it was very nice to jump into water. All and all we walked 32 miles, and our campsite was the farthest possible away. Instead of walking 3 miles to Martin's Cove we walked 7 miles, so there and back was 14 miles on the hottest day of the year for Wyoming 102 degrees. There was a lot of miracles on Trek. We had a horrible windstorm down at camp and it destroyed tents and picked up heavy propane tanks which was thrown into cars. The miracle is that no one was there to get hurt. I learned that Gatorade makes me really sick (some kind of allergic reaction, I don't know), and the first and second day was miserable because they made me drink it and I could hardly walk because of pain and throwing up feelings. I then drank water rather than Gatorade and I was fine the last 2 days. We learned a lot about pioneers and I was thinking of how most of them lost someone in their family. I couldn't bare to loose anyone of my family members (especially Lexi since she is closest in age and my best friend).
You might be wondering why did Parker put shoes in the title of the post page. Well, I'll tell you and show you pictures. These shoes have been through 3 generations of boys and they have been my favorite. They died on Trek, sad to say. And I decided to hang them on my wall as memory of them. You can also see their spirits going off to the spirit world. I was so good at taking pictures I caught that moment.
Also Shae was a pig tonight, and she out ate us all. She ate 3 enchiladas, 3 piece of zucchini bread, beans, and 2 pieces of cheesecake! She was so proud of her self, she pumped up her fist in joy. It was also Daniel's Birthday and we had a awesome birthday dinner. We had cheesecake which was delicious. (If you can't read what it says on the paper tell me and I will write it in a comment box). So mom wanted to show everyone this. The picture of Lexi and I in our pioneer cloths. And also my sweet pocket watch that everyone loved and was great for trek so I knew what time it was. At least 10 people on Trek when they saw me in my brown vest where like, "Parker you look really sharp." I guess I am a really pointy. Haha that's a real knee slapper.

4th of the July fun
The fourth was a blast! I love the 4th of July so much it is my second favorite Holiday. To start of the day we went to the Pepperwood and had a great breakfast. Then Lexi and I played singles in tennis and got creamed by to guys. I lost 2-6, she lost 1-6. Then we played doubles together and lost 2-6... not our best day. J.D., Jason, and some other guy formed a basketball group and they got all the way to the championship but they lost. It was funny to see a guy try to block J.D.'s shot and fly over is back. Then we all played sand volleyball it was really fun, but we lost. Then after that we all cooled off and went swimming, quite refreshing. Then we all went home and had a barbeque which was delicious. We sat around and we all talked and had fun. Well, everybody left, and as for me I did fireworks with Jay and Lexi and we watched a movie "Wrath of the Titans." Thanks to mom we didn't get any pictures at all on the fourth of July.
We did get some pictures though on our "Friday Camp out." Well it was supposed to be a camp out kind of hike thing. But instead we just had tin foil dinners at our house. We also had some banana boats, yum! We played Botche ball and my team won yeah!
Awe how cute!

Fun in the Sun
Well, it was a great Sunday with the family. We had our birthday dinner for J.D. and Kelsi. Happy Birthday you guys, thanks for being born so we could have such a marvelous dinner. We played Boche ball outside, because Lydia wanted to go outside so we all followed her out. It was real fun and takes some getting used too. Lexi and Kelsi beat J.D. and McCall/me. It was ok after because Daniel and I creamed Kelsi and Jason. The grand babies were very cute, and mom was so attracted to them she couldn't stop taking pictures of them.
We swung Lydia in a swing an she loved it and never wanted to leave. That is what she is lying in that picture, her red blanket swing. Oh yeah and look at the great looking shot of me, Ha ha. I also love the awesome hats of Daniel and J.D. they should where those for Halloween. Shae didn't want to go outside, but at least she is smiling.
P.S. Sorry for the messed up set up, our computer stinks. I cant change the pictures sizes or where they should go.

Forced to do a post about nothing... wait
Well hello family I don't know what to post about so I'm just going to post some pretty pictures, taken by mother dear. Wait there is something I can post about, the Kentucks have moved in to there apartment here in Utah. I got to hang out with them for a while because they stayed at our place. I got to hold Emeree for the first time and she loves my the most for some reason. Lydia has gotten so big and can talk! Sniff, Sniff, they grow up so fast. We got to play games, and one that a remember most was the Clue game where Lexi ruined the whole entire game, it's hard to explain why. I'm going to love having them back in Utah. Lexi and I got to watch Mulan, because I was dieing to watch it again. Oh there are such good quotes from that movie like, "The Huns popped out of the ground like daisies!" Or "Let's go kick some hunnybuns." Funny thing I never got what hunnybuns meant, I thought they were saying honey buns as in a sweet treat. My bewilderment has been cured.
A looser! Who you calling a looser, what if I popped your antenna right off your head and threw it across the yard who's the looser then.
"This tattoo will protect me from harm" Shang, "Oh really (punches him)" Ling, "I hope you get your money back." Another Quote: Shang, "You're not even worth my time chicken boy." Mushoo, "Chicken Boy! Why don't you say that to my face you limp noodle."
"She brings home a sword! If you ask me she should have brought home a man... Wooh! Sign me up for the next war!" Mulan, "Would you like to stay for dinner," old grandma, "Would you like to stay forever!"

| My and my awesome tennis shoe tan line. |

So for you in Texas and Kentucky that might have not heard this, but I won region in Tennis. I won with Jeffery, we played doubles. This is how it went down. Our first game was versus the toughest school Lone Peak ( ranked number five) and we were ranked number four. We beat them 8-4, and it was kind of hard. Then we went against the number first ranked team Lehi. We beat them easily 8-0. Then our final match was against Riverton and it was the hardest. We were up 6-2 then they made a comeback to take the lead 6-7 at that point we though we were going to loose. I stood in there and we won the next game and I got very pumped up. We went on winning 9-7. Jeffrey today was a stud, one play made me watching in aw. The Riverton player hit the ball on the opposite side of Jeffrey, Jeff got it hit it over and then the Riverton player it on the other opposite side, this went on forever. I did not know how Jeff was getting them, we won the point by my smash. It was an amazing day. Bingham did really well that day, there were 7 tournaments and out of those 7 Bingham got in second in 3 and we won 2. What a great day to be a Miner. Now it is super hard to decide if I want to do Tennis or Volleyball. What do you think I should do. Also on that same day we had a barbeque for all those that have graduated. It was sure fun. Congratulations to Daniel, Cassidy, Kelsi, Makana, Jason, Brandon, and J.D.(soon) Sorry if I missed anyone.

| Easter presents |
Well hello everybody I haven't written in a while. What a great Easter it was to have the marvelous family down. We had Cass, Dan, Kelsi, and Jason over and it was awesome. We had a great Easter dinner with an awesome Easter Cake made by Kelsi. Shae was also bodacious by making the strawberry jello. She had to cut the strawberries with one hand and she poured the jello in. That is hard to do. Shae also came to church with us today (halleluiah, halleluiah, halleeeeeluiagh), and think she only came because she thought she was visiting Grandma (nice one dad). We also made awesome eggs, I made one that was a egg warrior that got stabbed. And my awesome tennis ball that has my nickname Pk Fire, which is also on my tennis sweatshirt. We had an Easter egg hunt for Shae and I think she liked, she had it with all her friends. The Easter Bunny hit our house big, I got a bag of skittles, and Carmel Chocolate, and spring cloths Yeah! It was also fun to all talk in our family room about all the animals that we have killed over the past years (too much to count). We also quoted Fiddler on the Roof. Calvin was a cutey today even though he was tired and grumpy. He had fun with Cass while playing the piano. And he had is little skunk hat on. Well, enough said except one more thing I got into the top band in Bingham and I won in Tennis Singles 8-0 (booyah).
