Mom and Cassidy sporting the same great looking skirt and shoes! Hmmm....great minds think a like, do ya think?
Here is most of us that made the annual trek up the mountain to our private little spot in Little Cottonwood Canyon sans mom and dad. Remember the year we went up there as a family and got run out by a huge mexican contingent that came up there to roast their pig? Here were eating our pb&js and the next thing we knew we were surrounded right there in the middle of the forest. Our who can forget the time Shae wandered off? We were frantic looking for her. I remember Mom and I saying a prayer silently in our minds to find her and we did but it was a helpless feeling there for awhile!
Here is Shae with her roomates....love the red hair! They liven our Sunday afternoons when they come to pick up Shae.

mom copied me.. she just wants to be just like me ha. And what does roost mean? I don't remember that story about the guying going to roast a pig. When's the next hike? we should go to Cecret Lake

ReplyDeleteI don't remember the pig, but I do remember being run out of there by the family. We were all just kind of shocked. What about the dead animal that we found up there that made the place stink horribly?! Anyone else remember that. And if JD, Cass and Kels all didn't write this post and the person referred to "mom" in the third person, then I don't know who it could be that wrote this. Most of those stories seem like they happened when Lexi and Parks were too young to remember them.
