Kind of late for celebrating but here is Lex turning 17

 These girls are addicted to chocolate chips. And no I didn't do it. It must be hereditary. Emree wouldn't stop begging for them while I made cookies.

 Ok McCall you need to put up the recipe for this zucchini pie. It's the best food I've ever tasted made from zucchinis. Seriously we couldn't stop eating it. (sorry McCall I accidentally deleted your picture making it)

 I got the best surprise ever. Elder Dansfield showed up today to say Hi. He just got released and came for Conference.

Emree's One year Birthday Party!

 I forgot to get a picture of the jars but you can kind of see them in the background with the No. 1 year old sign in the middle. All the jars were filled with candy and we had to guess how many were in each and whoever got the closest one the jar of candy.

                         Lydia is the happiest in this car that went through nine children and is still barely working.

Here is most of us that made the annual trek up the mountain to our private little spot in Little Cottonwood Canyon sans mom and dad. Remember the year we went up there as a family and got run out by a huge mexican contingent that came up there to roast their pig? Here were eating our pb&js and the next thing we knew we were surrounded right there in the middle of the forest. Our who can forget the time Shae wandered off? We were frantic looking for her. I remember Mom and I saying a prayer silently in our minds to find her and we did but it was a helpless feeling there for awhile!

Here is Shae with her roomates....love the red hair! They liven our Sunday afternoons when they come to pick up Shae.
