Prom 2012

Prom 2012 with my wonderful date, Noah Jewkes. We didn't take many pictures, because we were in a hurry to get to reservations at Teppanyaki. Yep, that's where we ate dinner. It was delicious and the chef was hilarious. We all couldn't stop laughing at all the great jokes he had. Then on to the dance where we danced our hearts out and had one heck of a night. Funny moment... So, I wanted to slide down the cool banisters at the capitol but it was a lot slicker than I had expected. Not only that but my shoes (moccasins) did not have any grip on them. I slid down it and expected to land flat on my feet but instead my I landed flat on my back. My shoes had no grip and thus causing me to slip just as I landed. It was hilarious. Next after the dance we enjoyed some yummy desserts at the Degn's house and watched Psych. Have to say it was one fun night!

The wonderful, colorful, dress mom spent so much time on and worked sooooo hard on! What a crafty mom she is! Thanks to her I got the dress I dreamed of. I wanted colors for the dress, and so we took forever trying to figure out a way to put this toole on. Thanks to Cass for some good ideas we were able to find this one. Along with my crazy colorful dress we tie dyed headbands and put on war paint. It was a fun night, even though people still thought we were the craziest people there. We aren't wearing them in this picture, but we are in the real ones...

4 girls were nominated and only 2 won something. I was one of those girls! How lucky am I?! I was stunned! Mattie Watts won first place and I got second. Insane I actually won, and very fun.

Concealed by the darkness

Well, we finally got some snow this week so my friends and I decided to make something out of it. It started out as just a huge mound then we decided to make it into a huge fort. It is really cool, there is enough space inside of it for three people, maybe even four. If you are wondering how we made the top, well we put snow on of some wood and made it look like it is all snow. It was really fun and it is very warm and cozy in there.  But there was some pain that went along with it. Jaxon and Jay both got sunburned by the snow. It was actually quiet funny. I didn't get sunburned at all I am lucky. It took four hours to build it. Well, a funny thing of the day that almost killed me because I was laughing so hard. There is this place at Jaxon's house, when you go down the stairs there is a ledge that you can grab on to and swing down. Well, Jaxon tried and he fell landing on his arm, then Jay was stupid enough to try right after Jaxon fell. Jay fell and cut his chin, hahahaha. I may sound mean, but it was really funny and I couldn't stop laughing (they were both
all right)

 So anyway guess what, I made the tennis team! Wahoo! After countless hours of trying to decide if I should do both volleyball, and tennis I finally made a decision and I made the team. I can do both the coach is alright with it. It is going to be so fun. Jaxon and I are going to be the dynamic duo, we are awesome at doubles together. Also this week we got Daxton the whole entire week and he was real fun to play with. Now I am officially his favorite uncle. Congratulations to, Lexi, she was nominated to be  the Prom Queen.
P.S. Guess why our fort is called PJ squared

Balloons and more balloons

                                         Lex snuck in Parks room and filled it with ballons. They were all over his bed an  on the floor. She put kind or funny notes in them, although one had a gift certificate to Cold Stone. Yum!

                          Don't let him fool you he was hating to pop them as much as I was even though he looks fearless here.

                             And when he picked up the note on this one it said Don't be a wimp. We burst out laughing since he was having such a hard time wanting to pop another one.

 Birthday kids in  February. (well not quite with Brandon but close enough and sorry McCall we have no picture with you but Happy Birthday as well.)                                                                   And yes as usual we can't see dad.

                        Can't beat a heart Valentines cake. Are you blowing Cassidy or getting ready to slurp up the cake?

                    Ahh, my delicious blueberry muffins I dreamed about all night. The birthday boy who deserves this post since he was the only one born on Valentines day!!!! Way to go for planning that right .... or wait I think he was induced to achieve that goal.

I am Bodacious

For those who don't know, I made the Bingham Volleyball team. Yes, Parker Hansen finally made a team that was not a minor league team. We all did so good that the coach decided not to cut anybody. Just kidding there was only nine people that tried out, so it really wasn't tryouts. They didn't correct me on anything I did, I guess I did really well. The volleyball practices are so fun and I can't wait for the games to start. Coach said that this is the best team he has seen.

                          This was our last family night game. Remember the good ole days when we use to have races  putting together the puzzles. They had so much fun and didn't want to stop so they kept putting puzzles together during my lesson.
