Family dinners and more

TEA TIME!!!!!                                   The favorite place of the girls!

JD and McCall left overnight to find a job in Texas. Poor Emree was so sick but managed a cute smile.

My favorite quote from Lydia. She was crying and needing to go down for a nap.  And when told by McCall she needed a nap and that was why she was crying. She cried out, "No chocolate will make me feel better".:)  Hmmm... has she heard her grandma say that?

Asking Jaedyn for a picture is quite fun to see all the dramatic poses she models for the camera. A future model? I think yes!

Mckay's thinking. Yea I'm the smartest in the family. You guys no nothing.

Just because you are 16 doesn't mean you can leave me. I will always be your favorite girl.

Stylin Makana. (whoa this is an old pic just noticed Cas and Daniel)

This was our spiritual super bowl Sunday. Notice us pharisees didn't have the TV on. JD quizzed us with spiritual trivia. Parks didn't get any right and when I said you need to read the Bible more he said why who reads the Bible it's not important. I read the Book of Mormon.:)

            Addicted to the phone.
Remember this critter and lovely spouse in the background?

Getting ready for work.

Almost like the Celestial room in the temple.

I'll give you ten bucks if you can tell my what JD was laughing at.
And here is the cute band player

                                                        Celebrating birthdays.

 Tanner and his friend:)

All these three do when they are together is wrestle. They love to be together.

Tanner's birthday!

This wasn't Tanner's birthday.. but it was Christmas morning... Calvin always enjoys the boxes rather than the gifts.
Look at the cute kids at Mexican Grill.. it's called something like that... for Tanner's birthday
Who wouldn't wanna date this sexeh boy?? Yep, that's our birthday boy! Happy birthday to him!
Jae so funny. The elephants were awesome, she just had to get a pic.
I don't know about this picture... I think mom tried to get a picture of just the salt/pepper shakers and ended up with us in the back.
Our posers.. they should be in that one show: toddler's and tiaras eh??
MMMMMmmmm birthday cake, what we all actually care about on a birthday.

And here's Jaedyn being a horse for her stuffed animals.

craftiness

I was asked to decorate 5 presents for a table display for Relief Society and this is what I came up. I added a couple pictures of Christ but you can's see them.

I made this for Debi about 30 years ago. We use to pick names for Christmas. I couldn't afford to make one for me but always wanted one. The pinecones might be free but behind it was costly. I should have just come up with my own backing. Anyway I still LOVE it.
So no one wanted that pink/turned white dresser and I didin't think DI would either since the top was warped. I decided to use the drawers and made some shelves out of them. It took 5 minutes to hang them all. The dresser I'm using to store coal out in the garage.

A surprise visit by the Texanians and this little munchkin made my day! So glad Calvin seemed to remember me.

2 last shelves. One is empty but it will be filled soon.
Found some paint that withstands water and the downstairs bathroom is now sparkling white as well as our kitchen sink. Just about killed me because of the smell.
Here is a really cool book that I (Lexi) made. I put it together for one of my friends. I cut out cardboard for the sides and middle and then glued them on fabric making the fabric a couple inches longer than the cardboard. Then glued those flaps in. After this I glued one piece of paper onto the fabric. Lastly, I got a hole puncher and punched wholes through the middle and the papers, then tied a ribbon through it. You can just look up how to do it on youtube. I learned from there, and it's easy as pie.

I wanted to make my sewing area better. Since jars are all the rage and I have many I divided up my ribbon, buttons, spools, etc. and put in the jars by my machine.
                                                                                              Yes, I made these too!
