Sluggish Tuesday
Oh yes, as it is shown on the cartoon this story has something to do with the bus stop. Have you ever waited a bus stop in 15 degree weather hoping the bus will come. Well, it happened to me. I went to the bus stop at 7:20 and we were waiting around not thinking the bus would be really late. I looked up and saw the beautiful sunrise (one of the only good things that morning) and was happy. Well, after 20-30 minutes we started to wonder, where is the bus. That is when I went home and got hot chocolate for my friends. It was freezing cold, my toes were starting to fall off, and the girls were starting to scream how there fingers, noses, and ears were numb. We were there till 8:30 and by then my toes had fallen off (just kidding). Then the good Samaritans (the Evenson family) decided to take us in so we weren't cold. Then it went up from there, because we got to laugh, drink hot chocolate, and we were warm. We then rode the handicap bus at 9:00 (finally), and got to school at 9:10. We talked about how we will always remember this momentous day. I know I will. There was only 7 of us who waited for the bus. At least we were late for school. Also to go with that J.D. and Lydia left in the morning. I was sad to see them go, it was fun to hang out with them.
I can't believe it! I heard someone try to get in my house at 8 and I went upstairs to see who it was thinking it was the weird guy. I saw Tanner (I thought it was him) Parks wore his sweatshirt with the hood up just like Tan- it was so weird for a minute until I realized it was Parks who I thought was long gone. I called the bus and they said the bus had broken down but a new one would be there in less than 5 minutes. I couldn't believe this when I read that they were another hour after this. Silly Parks I would have taken you but I think he was having too much fun with his friends although it really was freezing so I don't know how.
Oh the good ol' bus. I had so many fond memories of waiting for the bus and it being late. Glad you guys really didn't freeze your toes and noses off that'd be a sad sight to see.

ReplyDeleteyes, yes I remember waiting for the bus in college, and it was so cold as soon as I stepped outside my snot turned to ice. Yep it was that cold.
